Task for Adolescent

Developmental tasks of adolescence is the attitude and conduct themselves in dealing with the surrounding environment. Changes in physical and psychological demands of children to adjust to the environment and the challenges of life that is before him.



Developmental tasks of adolescence is focused on improving attitudes and childish behavior and strive to achieve the ability to act and behave in an adult. The developmental tasks of adolescence by Hurlock (in Muhammad Ali, 2008: 10) is:
Adolescent Development Task

Able to accept his physical condition;

1. Able to accept and understand the role of adult sex;

2. Able to establish good relations with members of the opposite sex;

3. Achieving emotional independence;

4. Achieve economic independence;

5. Develop concepts and intellectual skills are very necessary to perform the role as members of society

6. Understand and internalize the values ​​of adults and the elderly;

7. Developing social responsibility behavior required to enter the adult world;

8. Prepare to enter the marriage;

9. Understanding and preparing the various responsibilities of family life.

1. Mingle with peers of both sexes

2. Achieving social role as a man or a woman
